TNA IMPACT WRESTLING newcomer King Mo brings one of the most diverse sporting backgrounds of any TNA Superstar to the roster. From collegiate wrestling to mixed martial arts and now IMPACT WRESTLING, King Mo’s undeniable athleticism and strength will leave fans cheering for more.
King Mo rose to grappling acclaim as an NCAA Division I All-American wrestler at Oklahoma State University in 2003 and a three-time Senior U.S. National Champion (2005, 2006 and 2008) in the 84-kilogram division. In 2007, as a member of the U.S. National team, he brought home a gold medal at the Pan American Games and a silver medal at the World Cup.
After an impressive collegiate career, the former NCAA All-American entered the world of professional fighting and MMA, amassing an impressive 8-1-1 record as of late 2012. In May 2012, King Mo made headlines when he signed to compete for both Bellator Fighting Championships and TNA’s IMPACT WRESTLING, both airing on Spike.
Now an accomplished mat wrestler and fighter, King Mo is ready to bring a new intensity to the IMPACT Zone. When he isn’t training for a fight, King Mo will be enforcing the ring. In 2012, General Manager Hulk Hogan booked King Mo’s first appearance at TNA’s premiere event “Bound for Glory” as special referee to the street fight between Bobby Roode and James Storm.
