Bobby Roode was once part of the dominating force that was Beer Money, which together has had some of the greatest achievements in IMPACT WRESTLING including tag team title reigns and some of the greatest tag team matches to ever take place inside a wrestling ring. However, Roode’s desire to acquire the championship gold formed a rift within Beer Money that tore the two apart.
Bobby Roode has been a top contender since joining IMPACT WRESTLING in 2004 and was the winner of the Bound for Glory series, which pitted 12 men against each other to fight for a title shot. Roode got his title shot but was robbed at Bound for Glory 2011 with a shady finish and may have been Roode’s snapping point to turn him against his brother’s in fortune and his long time tag team partner and best friend, James Storm. Through Roode changing his ways he was able to gain the most prestigious title in IMPACT WRESTLING, the World Heavyweight Title… but at what cost.
