Returns of The Slammy's
WWE Issued a following press release today announcing that comedian Dennis Miller will host a special 3-hour edition of WWE Raw on December 14th.

The 3-hour broadcast will take place from the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, TX and will feature the 2009 WWE Slammy Awards.

2009 Slammy Award categories will include: WWE Superstar of the Year, WWE Match of the Year, and WWE Diva of the Year.


Looks like we can look foward to another few months of guys carrying around trophies that were not actually voted on.

I think Superstar of the year is pretty much a lock for a heel. A face wouldn't be able to do much with the award...there's really no point to it unless they can use it as a another tool to be an asshole.

^ You pretty much repeated your first post in this thread.

I think McCool will get Diva of the year even though she's useless and doesn't deserve it. Jericho should get Superstar of the year so he can say he is the best at what he does but Punk will give him a good run for it, maybe Cena too, Best match could go to any of Orton/Cena or Punk/Hardy, should be Taker/HBK but I dunno if theyll give it to them.

Shes been heel for the past 2 years or so though. And i think seeing as that smackdown has all heel divas on its roster apart from Mickie James, Beth will go further as a face. In character development as well as gaining fans.
