The only thing that seems do-able is to bounce the title between Taker & Y2J a few time between now and Mania and have Morrison v Jericho (title v title) @ WM26. (Punk will prob be facing Finaly or some shit! :cries: ).

Or taker loses and takes a break because i dont wanna taker in a TLC match

^^^Taker v Jericho T.L.C. match = Taker has 9 mins in which to climb the ladder and retreive the belt, all the while his challenger, Jericho, sits on a chair at the foot of the ladder booing and generally trying to put our crippled hero off his ascent. Meanwhile Grish & Stryker call the match from the announce table. If the 9 minutes pass without a taker victory, the match ends and the druids come out and kick Jericho's ass on Takers behalf.... Taker retains.

Smackdown:

Undertaker opened the show. He cut a promo about Survivor Series. Chris Jericho came out and stated how finally after 10 years they were crossing paths. They got face to face and then it got physical with Taker getting the upper hand. A strong opener for the show!

The Rey Mysteiro and Batista video package was shown again.

1. Dolph Ziggler and The Hart Dynasty over John Morrison and Cryme Time. Ziggler hit his finisher on Shad for the win. Morrison appeared to injure his ribs during the very early part of the match and tagged out quickly.

Josh Matthews conducted a sit down interview with Rey Mysterio. He spoke about Batista turning his back on him and vowed that Batista will see a side of Rey that he's never seen before.

2. Beth Phoenix over a local female wrestler in squash match.

3. Drew McIntyre over Jimmy Wang Yang in another squash. Yang took a nasty spill before the bell when he was attacked by McIntyre. He got back up only to be squashed.

Batista did a quick backstage interview with Josh Matthews. When they did a close up of Dave's face you could see his lovely nose stud.

4. Rey Mysterio over Mike Knox. A solid match. Rey won with the 619/Splash combo.

5. R-Truth defeated CM Punk when referee Scott Armstrong gave him a fast count. Afterwards, Punk flipped out and complained to the crowd. He said he was going to file a complaint to the higher-ups.

Backstage with Mickie James, Layla, and Michelle McCool. McCool talked down to James, then gave it back to McCool, and also called Layla "Scary Spice."

A quick Batista/Hardy recap was shown.

A Wrestlemania 26 promo was shown.

Matt Hardy was interviewed by Josh Matthews.

6. Matt Hardy over Batista via DQ. Batista dominated the match, but also received the first boring chants of the night. This was kind of a lackluster way to end the night.

Some Taker/Jericho interaction = good.

CM Punk losing to R Truth under ANY circumstances = a fucking crime.

It's so sad... All that love for Jeff was passed to Punk in the form of heat and it's been utterly pissed away.

He should STILL be rockin' a JBL '04 style reign right now where he repeatedly survives, title in tact, by the skin of his teeth. Taker didn't go over JBL once... I don't see why Punk should be any different (Especially as he is younger and clearly has a brighter future than JBL did at that time)... Hell, the screwjob/conspiracy, although appalingly executed, wasn't that bad an idea, BUT it should be Taker fueding with the ref now (not Punk) having been screwed in all his attempts to dethrone Punk (Especially as it would be light work for him - Only requiring short squash matches - and allow Taker to improve his physical fitness a bit more for the road to Mania.).

And as I said in another thread, I would greatly prefer Punk to drop down the card and have a credible feud with Morrison for the IC title instead of him being fucking buried in the main event.
WWE has this fascination of making every heel look like a little bitch unless they're in the beginning of a "monster" cycle or at times Orton.

It's the curse of the top heel on the main brands. Orton has been booked like a little bitch lately (not since his Kofi feud though), Edge looked like a bitch, same goes for Punk.

I was about to name another top heel on RAW, but just realized that there's hasn't been anyone else on RAW in that position in years... not that remember.

Funny you should say that, IMO Orton's looked proper hard the last couple of PPVs... He totally owned Cena @ HIAC and aside from the run-in from Legacy put in a good account for himself in the Iron Man match(*). I think this will continue with the stuff ith Kofi - He's not physically out-matched so I think we'll see more of his vicious side (especially as in his mind he's righfully seeking revenge for something).

....TBH, Me'think's you're comments were inspired by the quick tapout @ Breaking Point... Don't forget he was made to look like a total psycho in that match too. What they showed was borderline torture tactics (when they had him caning Cena whilst cuffed up)... I dunno what the TV/film censorship laws are like in the US these days, but a one point in time you'd have had big trouble getting that aired on UK TV period.

Textbook 3 stage booking cycle for a heel champ:

1. Gain title AND heat by means of the characteristic that defines your character (Edge:Opportunism, Orton:Psychotic beatdowns, HHH:treatchery & betrayal etc.)

2. Turn pussy - Either get a possee or run scared in order to retain. Gains further heat.

3. Man up when it finally becomes apparent, dispite ego, that their title is at risk. Replenishes perception of threat to face challenger and still looks credible if title get's dropped.

Yeah, that's the thing, Orton is booked to look quite strong at times but it's very inconsistent. Out of nowhere he gets those little streaks of being a pussy.
Punk was booked to look like a fighting heel champion, he never backed down or ran from anyone.... he just got bitched out by Taker.

WWE books their heel champions good...until they ran across Batista, Undertaker or Triple H. It doesn't matter what your character is, when you face Batista the story is always "he's stronger than you, so you better run and try to get DQ or a cheap win", with Taker "he's the fucking Undertaker, act as if you are not scared during the build up but then when the match starts run" and with Triple H "he's better than you, don't even try".

Thereby making yourself a bitch.
