...Simple thread really, with the addition of Seamus to an already heel-heavy Raw mid-card(*) that also sees a rejuvinated Carlito doing precisely fuck all, do you think it'd be worthwhile turning Masters face?
It's not like he's really done anything heel-ish yet, so all it would take is for him to back up Cena, Kofi or someone to get the fans on side.
Match ups could include:
Masters v Seamus
Masters v Swagger
Masters v Miz
Masters v Carlito
...Would also give a little more balance to any multi-man US title matches.
Whereas, at best, all they got for him now is waiting in line to kick Bourne's ass or jobbing for Kofi to build him up for Orton.
(*I know they also have Primo & the Ballinest Men, but pretty sure their next respective singles programs will be the splitting of their tag team and Primo, well, he's just pure jobber at this point which sucks cos the crowd loved him in the team with his bro'... Not doing a proper split-fued proper screwed him cos he just seems like a pussy.)
He was last seen on RAW having his pecs dance to Crazy Train in the company of Chavo, Jillian and Santino...that should be an indication of where he's heading.
Well my post WAS admittedly somewhat in vein, but yet again I'm just left baffled as to WHY the fuck the bothered bringing him in... He hasn't even done any significant jobs even (which would have at least shown SOME kind of value percieved by WWE when re-signing him).

Exactly the same shit they pulled on D-Lo last year, plus yet again my mind also shifts to Kizzarny and Vade Hanson's Mordecai-esque character too as well as a few of the guys that debuted on ECW... What attracted them to get these guys in hasn't miraculously dissapeared has it????
I honestly see NO medium/long term planning what-so-fucking-ever in anything WWE does anymore (which is another reason why I fear for guys like Seamus, Swagger, MVP).
EDIT: Make of it what you will, but every other one of those guys you mentioned are in fact decorated mid-term employees.
I think we should have realized by now that WWE most of the times brings back released wrestlers simply just because they can.
Although Masters isn't by any means anything incredible, they could have very well repackaged him and brought him back on ECW to do something with Christian. (I'm sorry if my answer to everyone is ECW, but shit, it's the best brand). But anyway, there was no saying that they had to bring him back to the same gimmick, I'm sure they could have done something else for him.
Just look at D'lo, whos return was DOA.
And Goldust, how many times has Goldust been in and out of the company? I think they missed the boat big time on a Goldust/Cody feud, I think that could have been epic. Goldy is pretty good on the mic and looks the best he ever has in the ring.

You just answered your own question. WWE brings in alumni and new stars, and they have ZERO patience with them. If their gimmick and their debut, no matter how horrible or short or unmemorable, if it does not garner an IMMEDIATE reaction with the fans like they are the second coming of The Rock, then WWE nixes their program and never uses them again.
WWE has no more interest in "build up". They've joined every other brainless one of my own countrymen who DEMAND immediate gratification and if they don't get it, they throw you away.

^If Christian moves to RAW right now the problems have only just begun for him I'd say... lol. Even though that's exactly what I sense coming after the feud between he and Regal is over.
^ While I would really like Masters and Carlito on ECW, Christian should NOT go to RAW anytime soon! ECW is the best show atm, keep him there and then maybe mov ehim to SD, but not RAW right now cause its shit.
I know that qwake and what you say does make sense. I say raw cause thats where carlito and masters where from. More like a trade if im honest. I had no logic in what i typed just a trade in my eyes. I didn't really think if he would fit in there or not to be honest. I thought christian and regal have gone as far as they can after next week.

Heres what RAW needs to do to trim their heel-heavy mid card
Carlito-"Face" turn(Heel turn was anticipated for me but they book him poorly, a tween turn trying to convince Primo hes good now eventually stabbing him again early next year) or ECW
Masters-keep him heel pleeeeeese he is most likely a sucky face
Miz-Send him to ECW to win championship(drop title to Bourne)
Swagger-Push
Sheamus-Serious program with Noble eventually winning their US title from bourne
I say this time and again, WWE's rosters are imbalanced

Keep Miz on Raw, seriously, call me crazy, but mantaining steady in midcard, getting an ocational shot at a main eventer and getting to interact with the guest hosts keeps you closer to a main event push than ECW.
After his pec dance on RAW, it would be highly surprising if they don't turn him face. Why they brought him back, I duno. He's done nothing since his return. I don't know what they are going to do with Swagger/Bourne. But if they don't turn Swagger face, then may aswell do Masters. Try him as a face and see where that goes.
