WWE should teach him how to wrestle before he comes back. That's all he really needs. Oh yeah and to not be such a cu## might help. I can't get into his character at all. He'll never be close to anything like Austin or the Rock, but it would can't hurt to try.

Have him get more aggressive with his moves. Throw in a side finisher instead of a finisher to a submission. If Jericho can come back with the codebreaker after being gone for what 5 years? Why can't Cena? Cena's F-U will never be that in comparison to Brock Lesnar's F5 as its a face first plant whereas all Cena is doing is throwing the opponent on its back.

Jeff Hardy ....... jumps off a 30 foot structure onto people
Edge......... always picking the bones and reeling in the bait i.e. his World Title win over Taker after his match when he cashed in MITB
Steve Austin ..... drink beer middle finger stunner
Triple H ...... Cerebral Assassin with a sledgehammer
Undertaker .... The Phenom undefeated at Wrestlemania have what 2 submissions (triangle and also the was Gogoplata) and 3 finishers (tombstone, last ride, and chokeslam)

lets face it..to be put in the catagory of wrestlers like the rock, stone cold, and hulk hogan..that is expecting alot..i dont think there is a face wrestler today that can connect to the crowd like these three have during their careers.. i wonder what would happen if cena were to get pissed and just started taking people out [steve austin, royal rumble style..those were the days]..could start with a shoot on HHH and his politics backstage..wonder if HHH would put him over??? it would be great to see cena woop HHHs ass week after week and then see him run to steph and vince and shane and linda asking for help....lol....wwe writers send me a check for that story idea...lol

I seriously hope these rumours are true because Cena's character is so lame and has needed to be change for years.... I think that WWE are afraid to lose out on merch sales by turning him heel, otherwise they wouldve tried it already? Batista is also in the same boat.... he's done all he can do with this character and he needs a change or maybe just a tweak to find who Batista can be, but we all know that creative screwed up by not turning him heel during the HBK fued! Big opportunity missed there!
But to be honest I never will expect a Cena heel turn due to his high merch sales, one option is to send him back to the kids orientated sho Smackdown, he fits the mould better!

They just noticed this. Cena as been as annoying as STFU is around here. Cena has been getting booed since wrestlemania 22 and WWE just noticed.

If Vince McMahon really wants to alter Cena's character to where it appeals more to fans across all demos, I have a few ideas, and I hope some of you will agree with me on this one...
1.) STOP LETTING BRIAN "I'M THE WORST WRITER IN WWE SINCE VINCE RUSSO" GERWITZ F***ING UP CENA'S CHARACTER! This should be top priority; hence why it's in all-caps.
2.) Let Cena write his own raps again (see above). This should give Cena a little bit of that edge you might be looking for, plus in some of these youngsters' minds, give him a little bit of what the modern rap fan these days call "street cred".
3.) No more homosexual or shortcomings jokes.
