TNA iMPACT Rating, iMPACT Going Past Eleven on Mondays, More

Reported By marcm0484

Ric Flair
- Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff were scouting independent talent in California this past week.

- Spike TV will be allowing TNA overruns on Monday nights with iMPACT how WWE does on the USA Network.

- This past Thursday's episode of TNA iMPACT scored a 1.14 cable rating with 1.5 million viewers. Going into Monday night, this isn't so good. The show's lowest quarter ratings were the final two. The show finished at an 0.9 rating with the segment featuring Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan to close the show.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!

"It's alright BROTHER, because this Monday Night, I'm lacing up my yellow boots! And I just know that'll boost our ratings, JACK, right through the Impact Zone roof! Plus I have Bubba the love sponge by my side, Dude! I mean, who needs those TNA originals, what do they call them, oh yah, wrestlers, anyways, when you have great actors like Me and Ric Flair and Bischoff and a whole lot of other members of our saggy-tit-gang, BROTHER?"

I feel like we should be callling this new TNA something else, kind of like we call WWE's ECW "WWECW" instead of ECW to avoid disgracing the original ECW. Even though TNA the orignal wasn't gold, it was heaven compared to this new stuff, man.

Once again, a terrible Impact. Things are just going down hill with these idiotic story lines ("Abyss Hogan", Bischoff/Jarret, Bichoff/Foley, Angle/Anderson, etc). I have no idea how they're going to succeed on Monday, epecially after digressing so much in the last few weeks. I really wish the best for them, but this is just ridiculous and I can't stand it. Things could be done so so much better (even with Abyss' transformation), but sadly, I'm not TNA's head writer or Hulk Hogan; all their ideas come from their egotistical brains. Argh!

(I agree with your comment above.)

"captain... the ship has just hit an iceberg... the ship is going down..."... that is something tna now has knowledge about from a first person perspective... cause yet again... tna is a sinking ship...

so... the immortal hulk hogan and the nature boy ric flair... two people who truly believe that they can walk on water mind you... draw the lowest segment of the show?... this just proves my point... its not the peopleyou bring in that make the ratings... its the quality of the show that matters... everytime tna signs a WWE table scrap, thinking that its gonna be the one that tips the ratings, it simply isnt true... as i have enumerated on here countless times...

i would like to hear the tna marks explain this one... lets face it, they always have an excuse for the failure of their pathetic little tna.... well, good luck this time boys... it was hogan and flair, not your normal scrubs, hogan and flair that failed to draw... you cant blame it on the olympics... you cant blame it on anything... tna is an embarrassing product right now... and not even hogan and flair, both guys involved in the storylines as well, can save this total and complete crap that is tna...

maybe the jabroni's known as tna marks will start another boycott of the WWE to try and salvage some dignity for tna... cause that did so much last time right?... not... face it tna marks... the destruction of tna starts monday night...

I'm still asleep after this last episode of iMPACT! Too much talking and less wrestling. I'm very disgusted by what TNA has done in the past 2 weeks. Thanks for screwing up once again Hogan & Bischoff!

I agree TNA hasn't been that good lately...but i say the same thing for WWE.the only match i'm looking forward in Wrestlemania is the Edge vs Y2j and its sad because its an event that i once looked forward not just for one match but for the whole show..i'm not just a tna fan i'm also a wwe fan therefore i am hoping that things get better....however we cant expect things to be totally amazing right away..its going to take some time...and I totally agree that its not entirely about the legend power that makes the show better....but u know tna has had quality episodes...they just need to increase their fanbase more....something that WWE doesn't have to worry about...WWE can have silly characters and it will still be worshiped by most.it would be awesome if they kept doing good storylines but they've proved that by themselves they lack of caring wether they make good storylines or not ..its TNA that needs to step up their game...only competition will improve things.....

I think that will happen sooner or later, Hogan as a face and Bischoff as heel.

Is The Warrior, Hogan's top secret advisor?

I just found this, LOL. It explains why TNA has been
so nutty.

Yeah I agree. The last two iMPACT's I have literally fallen asleep, last week the opening segment with Flair did it to me. It is just plain boring. No wrestling and is basically the same ting each week with average storylines. They needa improve if they want to beat Raw on Mondays, alot.

Heading into a Monday Night war with Raw and having those numbers are not a good way to kick it off imo.

they are not ready... their product is atrocious... they are still under the tna propaganda machine... they have completely changed their focus and style... its a bomb waiting to happen...

i realize that competition would benefit everyone... but this premature effort will not be pretty... mark my words...

More people watch TV on Monday nights than Thursday nights. I dont think RAW wins its time slot, but no-one is suggesting that RAW should be moved to an "easier" night. TNA may never draw higher ratings than RAW, but TNA officials & Spike officials probably wont be too disppointed if that happens.
As much more people watch TV on Mondays, TNA have a good chance of increasing their viewership, and Spike hasn't got the program catalogue of USA, and as TNA is in Spike's top 5 programs, Spike would want to help TNA to increase their viewership by putting them in a better time slot.
