As much as I am annoyed by Cena. I would love to see this at WM26. The attitude era fans shall overcome!

As much as I hate seeing John Cena is every Wrestlemania Main Event..... if this happens, it better close the whole damn show. If The Great One does indeed agree to come back, I wanna see Cena do a massive heel turn on him. It would be the PERFECT chance to do so.
If John Cena vs The Rock headlines Wrestlemania 26, then I will go on a limb and predict that it will be the highest grossing Wrestlemania since 2000.

Vince doesn't have the grapefruits to turn Cena heel, because of the merch revenue! I'd put money on him staying face until he retires or jumps to another promotion. Vince didn't have the balls to turbn Hogan and look how successful the nWo turned out to be! It'll never EVER happen... an if it does then you guys can tell me how wrong I was... and I'd be happy... the John Cena character is the most stale on the entire roster.. worse than Undertaker... and thats goping some!
Cena v Rock... can't see it either... I alasy try to be optomistic... but he has alot to lose if he comes back to face SuperMan... who NEVER loses at Mania.
If it happens then it will eclipse any recent Mania moment... I just can't see it happening... and can anyone actually see Cena losing that match?

I Agree, Vince will never turn Cena heel because of the stupid little kids who forced their parents to sell his T-shirts like that new t-shirt he started to wear at Survivor Series "I'll never give up" That's the uglyest t-shirt i ever seen! And as you said pocket John Cena has become more stale every week, even worse than Undertaker which i always fell asleep during his 30 minute long entrance. zzzzzzzzzzzz
Cena vs The Rock... i agree with you once again, there's too much talk about Cena vs Taker at WM 26 which i don't see that match happening between Rock & Cena. But i rather see The Rock vs Cena than Taker vs Cena at WM 26 because i think is too little too late to watch The Streak vs Super Cena. Undertaker is one serious injury away to get in a Wheel Chair and Cena....... what can i say about him STALE! LAME! If Cena turn heel then maybe i will start taking him seriously again until then he will still be a merchandise nightmare!

As good as this match sounds. I dont want Rock to come back only to lose to a cancer of wrestling, that being John Cena. It would ruin his legacy. Unless Cena turns heel, I have no desire to see it, the Rock can come back and do a number of different things.

Hey Guys! If This match happens then it will be Wrestlemania 18 all over again,,,,and the only way they would pull this one off,,,would be if they turned cena heel! As soon as it would be announced that cena would take on the rock. EVERY fan will turn on cena just like everybody turned on the rock when he took on thee imortal hulk hogan! Cena just doesn't have enough fan power to pull off a face vs face match! There is no way that the rock is coming back as hollywood rock although his concerts were great (lil sarcasm) They should have the rock come out at the ppv and cost him the title (sheamus world champ,,,,shudder) Anyway,,,,then the rock would be the special guest host the next night!
He comes out and craps over cena and tells sheamus that he has to defend the title in the main event against himself! Beats him and then takes another potshot at cena saying something like "you always say something like if you want some come get some,,,,,hmmm I wonder were you got that from,,,,,so I say this to you Come get some! I really doubt the rock would stay wrestling that long though,,,,but i can dream can't I.
They would have to have the rock embarass cena on a daily basis for Super Cena to snap and go heelish on everybody! Then and only then will this match be watchable!
Oh and I know the undertaker isn't running on a full tank these days but I would rather have the undertaker wrestling with 1/4 in the tank then to have batista wrestling with a
full tank! He's doing better as a heel but he's the 2nd worst seller in the business with
Cena being the 1st,,,,(cena on's top everywhere)

all this cena heel crap.... i dont care if cena is a heel or a face,its still cena, a cancer some smart person said. most likely he will stay face and get booed out of the building. i rather see the rock join legacy and beat cena's ass anyway

This has nothing to do with Vince not having the grapefruits to turn Cena heel. It's a business decision... and how can you say Vince didn't have the balls to turn Hogan heel? Wrestlers just didn't turn like that back in the day. It's because of Hogan's longtime face persona that made him such a great heel because he turned his back on all of his hulkamaniacs. He truly pissed people off.
The Rock has nothing to lose by facing Cena and losing. It doesn't ruin his legacy. The Rock's legacy is already written. Hogan didn't ruin his legacy by losing to The Rock, twice. In fact, The Rock shouldn't win. I'm a huge Rock fan but he is no longer an active wrestler. Cena is, and he is helping the WWE... at this moment, he deserves it more than The Rock.

codebreaker, can you please explain to me why cena is the "cancer" of pro wrestling. I've never heard one bad thing about the guy's attitude. I know you hate him, but please tell me one thing he's done behind the scenes that makes him a cancer. also, if the cena beats the rock it would not ruin his legacy. In fact it would be worse if a guy who has not wrestled a match in what like 3 years, came in and beat the top guy

looks like we got true cena mark....cena's a cancer because he has almost zero talent compared to others. his promos suck his move set sucks ass and he was forced on us. the people didnt choose to like cena vince choosed cena. and stuff him down our mouths like no one els. if this was the attitude era cena would have never ever made it. so i ask you this jabroni do you honestly think cena deserves all rewards he's has, and what i hate about him is he acts like he's the only wrestler that bust his ass to get to where he is

First off, NOT a Cena mark. I hate his character as it is stale, but again misusing "cancer" A cancer in sports as well as wrestling is someone who disrupts the locker room. For example, T.O. in football, Marbury in basketball, Kevin Nash in the WCW and so on and so on. having him be vince's top guy-not cancer, unless you can give me some kind of example where he refused to lose to someone, if you can then I will eat my words. second if I'm not mistaken Cena was real popular with our demo when he was a heel. I remember hearing large pops from everyone when he came out. I'm sure if he went heel again you would like him, but you will probably say I'm stupid or some other remark. Third, who gives a sh*t if would make it in the attitude era. Newsflash- it's not the attitude era. Is that the only era you remember, because for me he reminds me of the 80's and Hogan, someone who was made to be invincible. Finally you can say nobody likes him, yeah nobody in our demo does, but again we are not the only ones watching wrestling. I know the kids sure seem to like him, and they are the majority that buys merchendise. the attitude era is over, get used to it. I don't know what's so wrong with the product now, would you rather go back to the days when we had primetime wrestling or superstars, when we rarely ever saw a big main event type match like we do now every week

give me one person cena put over and i will agree with you..... first off......cena isnt really a big star at all. the ppv numbers dont lie...they have drop sense austin and the rock left. raw drws 3.0 these days when the rock was there it peeked at 7.8. all is good for is selling shirts to kids.dont be fooled by cena he a huge ass kiss backstage and he has yet to put some one over clean. and he never goes back to the mid card look at randy ortan he's back in the mid card and put kofi over clean thats why randy is the best on raw....the fill this guy head up as if he a rock or austin and he's even close.

I don't think turning cena heel IS thee only solution but it's a start! The 2nd thing cena needs to do is get rid of that sorry attitude adjustment finisher of his! It's not the worst finisher ever but it's up there. All it is,,,is a standing fireman's carry! Oh yeah that's suppose to hurt somebody like the big show,,,,,hmmm! Lesnar is not coming back so give cena the F-5,,,,it definately has more impact! 3rd,,,,,they need to bring back the chain gang! yes it's cheesy but it worked! He's the only wrestler I know that has forgotten everything that brought him to the show. When Cena turned heel almost all of his moves had impact,,,,,now his moves are very BASIC. His Shoulder block looks weak,,,,Veterans like HHH and shawn michaels wouldn't swing out of control just to get caught by that back slam/suplex,,,,,,the "u can't see me" punch is actually a must because every wrestler has something like that. I've had the stf put on me and it's not powerful enough to make anybody tap out,,,,,it just makes you uncomfortable at the most. Even though I don't like cena,,,he really needs to stop doing that top rope leg drop,,,,it's messy and it will shorten his career! Oh and the fact that cena doesn't SELL injuries at all makes me hate him so much that I want to join wwe just to injure him! Example,,,,,I was already pissed at him for not selling to HBK but when he was powerbombed into that spotlight and came back the next night,,,,,,that confirmed that I would never ever like the face character of John Cena!

Rock bottom, again not comparing anyone to the attitude era. That is when wrestling was the "cool" thing to watch. I never compared him to that. If you are going to respond to what I wrote, maybe actually read what I wrote and respond to something I mentioned. You still didn't give me anything that states he is a bad locker room guy. Him not putting people over or going back to midcard probably has nothing to do with him and more to do with vince, and by the way losing to someone is not the only way to put them over. They have made cena to be Hulk Hogan, he used to get beat down, and then "hulked up" and nothing that bothered him through the whole match fazed him. It's the same with Cena. Your right he can't sell for sh##, his character is ridiculously stale. I don't like the Cena character at all. The only thing I've been trying to say is he doesn't seem to be a cancer. Remember wretling comes in cycles. I'm not comparing him to the Rock or Austin, because you can't. The Rock was unique, but again that was the boom period in wrestling. I'm not sure if the Rock started today the ppv numbers would be any different
