WWE Cracking Down on Twitter Use, RAW After WrestleMania, ECW

- This week's edition of ECW on SyFy scored a 1.0 cable rating.

- Monday Night RAW the night after WrestleMania, March 29th, will be held at the US Airways Arena in Phoenix. Tickets for the event go on sale Saturday, December 5th.

- Apparently all WWE talents have been told by WWE management to tone down their talk on Twitter and limit their use. There has been a lot of internal discussion in the company lately about wrestlers and their Twitter accounts after recent minor incidents with guys like Matt Hardy, Shad and Chavo Guerrero. Some in the company see Twitter as a promotional tool while others want to see a complete ban issued among the talents.

I wish Twitter would twit off! Using twitter is an easy way to get yourself into trouble...

A football player here in sunny England recently used Twitter to vent his frustrations about not being allowed to transfer, moaning about how long the transfer was taking quickly turned into slating the chairman of the club, costing him a very hefty fine and bad reputation!

twitter is a good way to get yourself in trouble but I also think WWE should embrace it.  Its a good way for lower-card guys to get noticed and maybe even create feuds with each other.

Very true... a protocol should be intoduced where posts are given the once over before being released onto the unforgiving public

WWE should also get GLADD to proof read all the twits as well ;)

i agree that some restrictions need to b in place.... ppl like Matt Hardy seem to b on Twitter every 25seconds posting someting usless...

For an example of wrestlers mis-using twitter or making themselves look like tools, please refer to the Chris Jericho vs The Miz feud of earleir this year. Made for an interesting read of, what I could tell, was a b*tch slapping fight between two little girls.
