Elijah Burke Puts Over Dixie Carter, Thanks the Fans & More

- Elijah Burke (D'Angelo Dinero in TNA) posted the following blog on his official website:

As you all know, these pass couple of weeks were very hard and difficult for Pope and his family. I would like to thank everyone of you 4(up) your support throughout these stressful times.

Pope would also like to send a very special thanks to his TNA Family; from the locker room, to the seamstress, all the way down to the janitor. TNA is truly a family atmosphere and a great company to be apart of. I dunno, maybe...just maybe YOUR Pope may decide to stick around for another 5-10years!

And then there's Dixie Carter, one of the most personal and compassionate bosses that Pope has EVER worked for in this lifetime. It's such a rarity to work for a boss who genuinely care for his/her employees (ESPECIALLY in this business) the way Dixie does.

In closing, Pope would just like to say that since that road has now been crossed, and we've (Pope and his Family) have finally made it over the hump, Pope looks forward to returning ASAP, to do what he does best: "Saving The World, One Smile At A Time!"~ PHS

Dixie Carter I'm sure isnt the first boss that ever cares for her employees. I know Burke works for TNA now, but its kind of stupid he thinks Dixie is like the only person in the world who cares at all. From what I understand WWE has a 3 strike rule, and offers former employees free rehab for drug issues. Something TNA doesnt.

Um, if you read it again, you will notice he said one of the most compassionate & caring he has ever worked for, not one of the most compassionate and caring to ever be a boss. Big difference.
Everyone know that Vince cares way more about Vince & WWE than about those who work for him, and he wouldn't have been likely to get more than a single night off for a family emergency if he was still working there.
Of course, you could argue that Vince being a more ruthless boss is why WWE is so successful, but the average person would rather work for a smaller company with a great atmosphere and a nicer boss than one of the biggest companies in it's field, where you are just one of the plebs, and if you aren't one of the higher people in the company, much of your hard work can go unnoticed, with lots of politcal games behind the scenes.
The Pope is one of these people who would rather work for TNA than WWE, because money and fame is not why he got into wrestling - it was to enjoy working. Obviously, many top people at WWE have a lot of fun while becoming really rich and famous, but if you aren't at the top there, I reckon moving to TNA will be more enjoyable for many wrestlers on WWE's payroll, especially as they can go from being someone who appears on a few low card matches a month in WWE to being in PPVs at TNA.
So, that's the reason why it can be attractive for many wrestlers to move to TNA, they won't necessarily care about ending their career in "a lower division", as many people on here think that doing so is a bad idea for a wrestler's career. Except that wrestlers don't think that way.
