TNA caught WWE dragging their feet - a few red faces there, after WWE finally does some scouting only for someone else to reap the rewards.
Both companies really need to up their scouting to find the next big things instead of waiting for new prospects to come to them, although TNA are taking a step in the right direction with their competition for the Australian tour where you can win a spot at TNA for their performance in your local city.

I have to say that I've never seen Nigel wrestle as ROH has zero appeal to me! I've heard nothing but great things about him.

It's a smart move for him though. The guy is hot property, and the time is now!  Had he moved to WWE he would have been sitting on the sideline for ages before doing anything like he'll be doing in TNA. He would've probably been sent to FCW for 6 months at least... then on to ECW to start from the bottom of the pile. TNA have in my mind done the right thing by throwing him into the spotlight against Angle. He is the talk of the town now that TNA stole him from under Vince's nose, so it makes perfect sense to do this. It will attract all his loyal ROH fans to watch him on iMPACT... so a great move for TNA and for himself! He's 31 and in his prime so now is the time and place for him to shine.... can't wait to see what all the fuss is about!

I totally agree pocket! I am so excited for Nigel! I've seen his work and his promos, and he is a superior talent. TNA was smart to put him in a feud with one of the top wrestlers of their company. I am amazed to see this. If I weren't watching TNA, I would watch it just to see Nigel's career progress. I am so glad he didn't go to the PG WWE.
