-Vitor Belfort vs. Rich Franklin
R1 - Feeling out process for the first minute. Belfot with a leg
kick but it's Franklin stalking him. Belfort momentarily catches a kick
of Franklin but unable to do anything with it. Belfot being patient and
waiting to counter strike Franklin. Franklin misses with a left and a
right. Beflrot catches him and knocks him out. Franklin is face down on
the canvas.

-Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic vs. Junior dos Santos
R1 - Dos Santos closes the distance and lands a body shot. Dos
Santos pressing the action early. Cro Cop fires his first left high
kick one minute in but it's blocked. Dos Santos lands a right hand that
looked to have hurt Cro Cop and follows it with another hook to the
body. Cro Cop clinches. Dos Santos briefly gets Cro Cop down but the
Croation is back to his feet immediately. Dos Santos is outstriking
Mirko Cro Cop. MMAWeekly.com scores round one 10-9 for Junior Dos
Santos.
R2 - Cro Cop misses with a high kick and lands a leg kicks. Dos
Santos lands a big left. They exchange with Dos Santos getting the
better of it. Dos Santos is moving forward landing shots while Cro Cop
pushes him away. Dos Santos is taking it to Cro Cop who seems to be at
a loss for a strategy. Cro Cop lands a kick to the groin and Dos Santos
is on the ground in pain.
After two minutes, the fight is restarted. Dos Santos goes back to
landing punches to the body and head and Cro Cop pushing him away.

R3 - Cro Cop comes out moving forward in the final round, but that
quickly changed. Dos Santos with a knee to the body, and another, and
another. He has Cro Cop in trouble. A knee to the head followed by a
hook. Dos Santos is punishing the Croation. Cro Cop quits.

-Martin Kampmann vs. Paul Daley
R1 - Kampmann being careful early and Daley launching bombs.
Kampmann attempts a takedown but Daley is having none of it. Big puches
being thrown by both guys. Daley with a two punch combination but
Kampmann answers with a right hook before clinching with Daley along
the cage. Daley lands a right hand that stuns Kampmann. Kampmann out on
his feet and the referee stops the fight. The crowd boos. Kampmann
never went down but was eating shot after shot.

-Josh Koscheck vs. Frank Trigg
R1 - Trigg moving forward pawing with his right hand and lands a
straight left. Koscheck lands a right hand that hurts Trigg and follows
up with a barrage of right hands taht put Trigg out. The referee stops
the fight.

-Tyson Griffin vs. Hermes Franca
R1 - Griffin opens with inside leg kicks. Griffin out boxing Franca
in the fist three minutes establishing his jab and lading 1, 2
combinations. Franca trying to counter but having no success thus far.
Griffin easily wins round one with superior striking. MMAWeekly.com
scores it 10-9 for Tyson Griffin
R2 - The pace picks up in round two with Tyson landing a good shot
that seemed to hurt Franca resulting in a wild exchange. Franca catches
a body kicky and the two take turns throwing right hands as Franca
holds his leg. The crowd erupts in cheers in sharp contrast of their
displeasure in round one. Griffin drops Franca with a right hand and
pounces on him landing right hand after right hand. The referee stops
the fight.

-Efrain Escudero vs. Cole Miller
R1 - Feeling each other out for the fist minute Escudero lands a
combination and catches a body kick by Miller and tosses him to the
ground. Miller gets back up and they resume striking. Miller tries to
use his reach and establish the jab. Escudero slams him and presses
forward landing a straight right hand that puts Miller down and follows
up with a few more putting him unconscious.

-Drew McFedries vs. Tomasz Drwal
R1 - The both throw leg kicks at the same time to start the fight.
Drwal lands a combination and then flurries before clinching and
looking for the takedown. McFedries circles out and they're back int eh
center of the Octagon. McFedries headhunting but misses with a couple
of haymakers. Drwal gets the fight to the ground for just a second and
McFedries gets back to his feet but drwal has his back. McFedries
separates and lands two nice left hands. Drwal lands a right hand and
clinches getting a takedown in the process where he lands right hands
forcing McFedries to give up his back as the round ends. MMAWeekly.com

R2 - Drwal lands a good right hand and takes McFedries down where he
takes his back and applies a rear naked choke forcing McFedries to tap.

-Jim Miller vs. Steve Lopez
R1 - It's Lopez with the reach advantage but Miller unleashing
punches in bunches. Miller catches him with a left that sends him to
one knee but Lopez bounces back to his feet. Miller partially lands a
high kick followed by a rigt hand but gets poked in the eye. Lopez
closes the distance adn eats a left hand that drops him to the canvaas.
Miller slaps on a guillotine choke but Lopez escapes only to be met
with a series of strikes. Miller works ground and pound before dropping
back for a leg lock in the closing seconds allowing Lopez to escape
back to his feet. MMAWeekly.com scores the round 10-9 for Miller.
R2 - They stand toe-to-toe exchanging with Miller getting the better of it. Lopez injures his shoulder and quits.

-Rafaello Oliveira vs. Nik Lentz
R1 - Lentz with a couple of outside leg kicks to get things started
and Oliveira answers with one of his own. Oliveira rushes in with a
flurry and lands a right hand followed by a double-leg takedown. Lentz
gets back to his feet but gets rocked by punch. Oliveira goes in for
the kill but Lentz goes for a guillotine choke that Oliveira defends.
Oliveira slams Lentz to the canvas but was unable to do much and Lentz
gets back up. Lentz hurts Oliveira with a well-placed punch but
Oliveira recovers. In the final seconds of the round, Lentz slams
Oliveira. Extremely close round. MMAWeekly.com scores the round 10-9
for Oliveira but the judges probably gave it to Lentz because he
finished strong.
R2 - Lentz starts teh round with kicks to the body and legs. Lentz
starting to find his range landing punches on Oliveira. The pace slows
with each guy winging punches but coming up with little. Oliveira
attempts a takedown and Lentz pulls guard. A nice scramble ensues on
the ground and Lentz eventually gets back to his feet where the final
seconds play out with not much happening. MMAWeekly.com scores the
second round 10-9 for Oliveira.
R3 - The pace slows in the final round. Lentz pushes forward with a
flurry but Oliveira drops down and gets the fight to the ground where
he lands a few punches before Lentz gets back to the standing position.
Both fighters are exhausted but Lentz is able to secure a double-leg
takedown at the midway mark. Brilz controls top postion and lands a
series of punches to Oliveira's head. MMAWeekly scores the round 10-9
for Lentz. Close fight that could go either way and comes down to how
the judges scored round one.

-Brian Foster vs. Rick Story
R1 - They come out throwing bombs. Finally an exciting fight in the
works. Foster rocks Story with punches, twice and Story gets the fight
to the ground where he works ground and pound. Foster gets back to his
feet with a minute to go only to be taken right back down. The fight
works it's way back to it's feet where they start unloading heavy
shots. MMAWeekly.com scores the round 10-9 for Story.
R2 - Back to where they left off, but Story gets the action back
down again and moves to half guard position. Story applies an arm
triangle choke that Foster tries to fight off but eventually was forced
to tap to. First finish of the night.

-Jason Brilz vs. Eliot Marshall
R1 - Marshall using his reach trying to establish his jab, but
misses with an uppercut before throwing a combination. Brilz tries to
rush in and get past Marshall's reach but Marshall circles away. Brilz
tries for a single-leg but Marshall easily shakes it off. Brilz lands a
left hand and the two clinch along the cage but quickly separate. Brilz
again attempts a takedown but Marshall defends. Brilz lands a quick 1,
2 but did no damage. Marshall fires a high kick that is blocked.
MMAWeekly.com scores round one 10-9 for Brilz due to landing the better
shots.
R2 - After a few strikes that don't find their mark by both guys,
Brilz attempts a single-leg that Marshall defends. Brilz is relentless
with his closing of the distance and pressureing Marshall on the inside
against the fence. Brilz lands a knee to Marshall's groin, and after a
minute for Marshall to recover, the fight resumes. Marshall with a
quick uppercut, his best shot landed of the fight. Brilz clinches and
drives Marshall across the Octagon but Marshall cirles out before being
taken down briefly. Brilz lands a right, left at the bell. MMAWeekly
scores round two 10-9 for Brilz.
R3 - Brilz with a left hand to start the round. Marshall doesn't
have an answer for Brilz' punch once or twice and clinch strategy.
Brilz with a big right hand as they separate and he's loading up his
right from the outside. The round plays out like the first two with
Brilz moving in and getting off a punch of two and clinching,
controling the pace. MMAWeekly.com scores the final round 10-9 for
Brilz.

-Vladimir Matyushenko vs. Igor Pokrajac
R1 - The two let loose one punch at each other before clinching. The
separate and Matyushenko lands a straight right hand. It's Matyushenko
moving forward as Pokrajac circles and backs up. Pokrajac stuns
Matyushenko with a left hand followed by another and Matyushenko wisely
gets the fight to the ground. After standing over him momentarily,
Matyushenko goes into his guard and lands shots to the body and
advances to mount, but Pokrajac sweeps him and lands in mount as the

R2 - Pokrajac misses with a superman punch and Matyushenko comes up
with air on a looping right hand to start the round. Matyushenko
starting to land his jab and finding his range with his right hand.
Matyushenko lands a combination that sends Pokrajac moving away and
judo throws the Croatian to the canvas. Matyushenko worked for a kimura
before giving it up to land punches forcing Pokrajac to give up his
back. Pokrajac works his way back to half guard as the round ends.

R3 - Slow start to round three with each guy loading up on single
shots. Matyushenko scores a takedown but the referee stands them up
after only 20 seconds on the ground. They clinch along the cage but
neither do anything and the referee separates them. Pokrajac gets a
takedown and lands in Matyushenko's half guard only to be reversed. The
round ends wiht Matyushenko in Pokrajac's guard not doing much.

-Robert Emerson vs. Rafael Dos Anjos
R1 – Emerson working hihs jab and Dos Anjos lands an ouside leg kick
before shooting in for a double leg takedown that Emerson fends off.
Dos Anjos comfortable standing with Emerson and lands kicks to the body
and legs setting the pace of the round. Dos Anjos dives for legs but
Emerson defends the takedown again. In the final seconds of the round,
Dos Anjos gets a single-leg takedown and lands punches inside Emerson's
guard before passing to half guard. MMAWeekly.com score round one 10-9
for Rafael Dos Anjos.
R2 - They exchange leg kicks to start the round and Dos Anjos
continues to work Emerson front leg with kick after kick better getting
a takedown stuffed by Emerson. Two minutes in, they get into a wild
exchange with Emerson getting the better of it and Dos Anjos briefly
gets Emerson to the ground but Emerson immediately pops back to his
feet. Emerson starting to let his hands go but being met with more leg
kicks by Dos Anjos. The round ends with the fighters exchanging along
the cage. MMAWeekly.com scores the round 10-9 for Emerson in a razor
close round.
R3 - Dos Anjos' leg kicks are taking their toll on Emerson. Dos
Anjos secures a double-leg takedown and advances to Emerson's back
where he momentarily looked for a rear naked choke. Emerson works his
way back to guard, but Dos Anjos lands elbows and punches to the body.
Emerson gets back to his feet with two minutes remaining. Emerson
swings for the fences but Dos Anjos clearly takes the round.
