- At last word, WWE is still trying to get Jeff Hardy to reconsider taking time off. Apparently Hardy is still planning on taking time off and the WWE creative team is still working on booking plans should he stay or go.
- WWE Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio wasn't at the WWE TV tapings this week and won't be back most likely until he starts on promotion of SummerSlam. Rey was given some time off to take his family on a vacation to Hawaii. One of the conditions Rey made with WWE when he re-signed was that he gets breaks from the road.
- There was talk this week at the WWE TV tapings that the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view on October 4th will feature three Cell matches, which might end up being all three brand's top title matches.
- CM Punk will be appearing at Baby's Steak and Lemonade in Glendale, Arizona on Tuesday, August 25th at 11AM. Baby's Steak and Lemonade is owned by former WWE Superstar Armando Alejandro Estrada.
