iMPACT Called 'Unfiltered Russo', Jericho/Show's New Theme, Maryse, ECW & More

- James Laurinaitis, son of Road Warrior Animal, has just signed a four-year contract with the NFL's St. Louis Rams.
- This week's edition of ECW on SyFy scored a 1.3 cable rating.
- Former TNA wrestler Lance Hoyt's new name in WWE developmental is actually Vance Archer.
- WWE Diva Maryse posted a few messages on her Twitter account saying she was "bionic." This appears to be a reference to the knee surgery she was supposed to have underwent this week.
- Fans in attendance at the SmackDown tapings this week noted that Chris Jericho and Big Show are using a slightly new theme song. One fan said the music starts out with Big Show's theme and goes into Jericho's, similar to how Rated RKO's used to be.
- The TNA TV tapings this month were referred to as "Unfiltered Vince Russo" by those in the company with Jeff Jarrett away. One source says the consensus is that the product is suffering more when Jarrett isn't there. Even Kurt Angle has talked about taking over booking, those involved say that would be impossible. At best, it's said that Angle could be a guy who made suggestions to Vince Russo and Russo would listen. A lot of the talents had more input at the TV tapings this past week but it was said that this didn't appear to be better for the product.
