- The take home commemorative chair from last night's Night of Champions in Philadelphia featured CM Punk holding the World Heavyweight Title and a collection of the WWE Title belts.

- Triple H's appearance on Robot Chicken aired last night. They did a sketch playing off the recent RAW guest hosts with Triple H offering to go home since nobody wanted to face him. Actress Dakota Fanning came out to promote a movie but attacked Triple H to start a match. John Cena arrived in the sketch, Cena didn't actually work on this project, and double crossed Dakota and the skit ended with them beating her with a chair as they promoted her children's movie.

- WWE's The Marine 2 starring Ted DiBiase Jr. will be released in time for the Holidays this year which is why it's been pushed up from a 2010 release.

- According to sources close to the situation, WWE's original plan was for Dolph Ziggler to defeat Rey Mysterio in the Intercontinental Championship bout. The exact motivation for the finish change, which reportedly occurred as late as Sunday afternoon, is unclear, but initial indications are that it was not a random case of WWE creative changing its mind.

- Numerous backstage sources confirmed that Vince McMahon was very upset with how Chris Jericho and The Big Show versus Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, the opening Night of Champions match, played out. The WWE Chairman was reportedly irate as he threw a fit backstage, emphasizing his opinion that the match failed in its job of getting the crowd hot for the rest of the show. McMahon was seen throwing down his headsets at the end of the match.

Of course the Jericho match didn't get fans hot, you put Big Show as the mystery opponant! I know of NO ONE that is a big show fan. He's soooo freaking boring and one dimensional. Why didn't you put someone interesting as Jerichos partner like Christian or some rehired guy. Gimmie a break McMahon. retire already your ideas do not entertain us.

Well what the hell did Vince expect, that the fans would be cheering for big show and Jericho? They are both heels Mcmahon in case you forgot, not to mention there were a million different choices that would have worked better.. Christian, Chris Masters, Dolph Ziggler, Miz.. Now those would have been a lot better then the Big Show. It was obvious that this was a last ditch effort to create some source of "entertainment" but it failed miserablly, and you have nobody to blame but yourself Mcmahon. Maybe if you did quit we would get something fresh and new to make us excited about what we see. But since you see to not care about what we think anymore, then you reap what you sow
