- It was reported by some that AJ Styles was taken off TNA's weekend events due to a problem with his hip and was being replaced in matches by Hernandez. Jeremy Borash reports on his Twitter that AJ is out of action with a staph infection in his leg. No word yet on the severity of the infection or how long he is expected to be out of action.
- Cary sent word that none of the new WWE Superstars from developmental who debuted on ECW a few weeks back have been added to WWE's roster pages.
- TNA's Jeremy Borash noted on his Twitter that he ran into Freddy Krueger, probably played by regular Robert Englund, at the San Diego Comic-Con and he said he was going to host RAW in a few weeks. Borash could have been just joking around but here's what he wrote: Freddy Krueger just told me on the red carpet he was gonna host Raw in a few weeks. Pretty sure I talked him out of it.
- In an update on the Playboy and TNA story, the word going around the iMPACT tapings this past week was that one of the main reasons Traci Brooks is being brought back in a main role is because of the shoot with Playboy that she recently did.
There was also some talk that Christy Hemme and SoCal Val may have done some sort of shoot with the magazine but that's not confirmed.
