Ric Flair Blasts Bret Hart Hard, JBL Denies TNA Rumors

- During an appearance on the Live Audio Wrestling radio show in Canada, Ric Flair sounded off on fellow WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart, saying:

"He is a pissant in the history of wrestling. He has the nerve to compare himself to me. Let's get realistic. If you put Bret Hart in your left hand and me in your right hand, compare the career...who is he? I wrestled everybody in the business, for an hour each night. Harley Race, Dory Funk, Jack and Jerry Brisco, who is Bret Hart? He is a legend in his own mind. He lives in his own little world...he screws his own family around. Who is Bret Hart? In my world he is a nobody!"

The bad blood between the two apparently began in 2005 when Bret referred to Flair as "the most overrated guy in the history of the business."

- Former WWE Champion John Bradshaw Layfield took to his Twitter in denying rumors of a wrestling-related career shakeup. According to the former champion, there is no truth to any reports of JBL considering a TNA run.

"No talks of tna and no regrets on my career-internet rumors are completely bogus. I am happy playing golf and being retired," noted Layfield.

Much as I like Rick Flair......Bret Hart is probably the best Pro Wrestler.....that we have seen.....in the last 30 years. The guy could have had a great match with a wooden spoon. There have been more exciting wrestlers, maybe even better technical wrestler, but Hart was as close to the whole package as i've ever seen. Flair was good, but he was no Bret Hart

Curt Hennig was the best, that's why he was Harts favorite opponent. Hart is good but not the best there is or will ever be by far. He's like Oasis, full of themselves! and Flair should shut his mouth too. He may be the best there was BUT he has no business tooting his own horn, that's what douches do.

Hening was great....I'm not quite sure of where he came from in terms of amateur career wrestling.....I can't find any record of one, but I would assume by the way he performed he did do some. I'm only really calling Hart the most complete pro wrestler, not the best.
