- This week's edition of ECW on SyFy scored a 1.2 cable rating.

- On Monday, Jason Powell of ProWrestling.net wrote an open memo to TNA President Dixie Carter asking her to realize TNA's booking is horrible, fire the creative team and bring in Paul Heyman to steer the ship. A message posted on Twitter by Paul Heyman's Heyman Hustle account responded with, "PAUL SAYS 'NEVER.'"

- WWE's Night of Champions and SummerSlam pay-per-views are both close to being sold out. Only tickets in the upper-most levels remain for each show. Still, tickets are always released in small numbers as WWE finalizes it's production changes.

- As of now, plans still have Shawn Michaels returning in time for WWE's SummerSlam pay-per-view. Two matches discussed for SummerSlam have Triple H vs. John Cena and Carlito vs. Primo.

- Though some are not pleased with Jeff Hardy's decision to embark on a hiatus while the SmackDown roster is short on main event talent, his recent performances have earned him lockerroom praise. WWE has been particularly impressed with Hardy's work ethic on the road, noting he has been doing a great job of putting CM Punk over.

Hardy's exit is still described as "imminent," which is why WWE is hard at work getting talent like John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler over, although some close to Hardy believe he will work SummerSlam.
