- Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley lost their IWGP Junior Tag Team Titles earlier today in Tokyo, Japan at the Korakuen Hall. The team of Ryusuke Taguch and Prince Devitt won the belts.

- Variety has an article from this past Friday noting that Warner Bros. has officially purchased most of Midway Games' assets for $33 million with no other bidders emerging. The purchase includes the "Mortal Kombat" franchise and legacy arcade games such as "Joust" and "Spy Hunter." One license that was not picked up was the "TNA iMPACT" series which was in developmental for a sequel. So the future of "TNA iMPACT 2" appears to be very much in doubt.

- Jeremy Borash posted a Tweet over the weekend about former NFL star Steve McNair who was murdered in Nashville, TN on Saturday night with a female friend of his: McNair passed away a few blks from my condo&His foundation offices are in the same building as TNA Headquarters. He was loved in this town.

- Borash also posted a great video of him, Scott Steiner and some friends shooting off fireworks last night for their Fourth of July celebration. Here's the video from Borash's Youtube page via Twitter:
