- Former WWE Superstar Ken Doane (Dykstra) will be facing former WCW/WWE star 2 Cold Scorpio at the Dragon Gate USA show on July 25th in Philadelphia.

- TNA World Champion Kurt Angle is shooting a movie next week in Los Angeles called The Land of the Astronauts. Its a psychological drama that tells the story of a man who starts to lose his mind whose wife leaves him and who is haunted by demons and delusions.

- As of right now, Shane Douglas appears to be done with TNA. After losing his match at Slammiversary against Christopher Daniels, his profile was removed from the TNA website roster page. Douglas hurt his ankle early in the match which is why it never really got out of first gear. Needless to say, he wasn't happy with his performance that night.

- This past Friday's episode of WWE SmackDown scored a 1.7 rating while the weekend's edition of AM RAW scored an 0.3 rating, it's lowest in a while.

- Chris Jericho posted the following on Twitter this morning:  I just woke up and I can barely walk. I'm getting too old for two matches a night...

- New SmackDown Superstar Matt Hardy apparently met with another doctor yesterday to further diagnose his abdominal tear and to see if surgery will be necessary. No word yet on what is going to happen with Hardy.

- Shawn Michaels is featured on the new ad for WWE's SummerSlam pay-per-view but that doesn't guarantee he will be returning for the big show. At last word, Shawn was in no hurry to return.

HBK will be back by November as they are promoting the Raw houseshows for the UK in November as a DX reunion tour and if he wasn't there then I imagine there would be a few unhappy people wanting their money back.

It was because they billed Slammiversary as being a cross-generational event where stars of yesterday met stars of today, only most of the guys who actually helped build TNA are no longer with the company, so they had to try and pull some people back who actually have some name regonition, so they got Shane Douglas and Raven in (although Raven may be staying around). Not that it really mattered though because all of the adverts promoted there being 7 men going for the world title but there were only 5 in the match so really they pick and choose when to actually deliver what they said they would.
